ππ Repeat Day β June 3 ππ
Because sometimes once just isn't enough.
There are holidays that celebrate heroes. Holidays that celebrate food. Holidays that celebrate important historical events.
And then there's Repeat Day.
A holiday dedicated to doing something again.
Honestly, it might be the most relatable holiday on the calendar. How many times have you reheated your coffee, rewatched your favorite movie, reread a favorite book, or repeated the same instructions because apparently nobody was listening the first time?
Observed every June 3, Repeat Day encourages us to revisit things we enjoy, give second chances to things we didn't appreciate the first time around, and learn from mistakes by trying again. It's a playful reminder that not everything needs to be brand-new to be valuable.
Sometimes the sequel is better than the original.
Sometimes the sequel is better than the original.
(See what I did there?)

π The History of Repeat Day
Repeat Day doesn't have an ancient origin story involving royalty, mythical creatures, or villagers dancing around a bonfire. Instead, it's a modern holiday that focuses on self-improvement, reflection, and the idea that every day offers another chance to get something right.
The holiday is often associated with taking a look back at the first five months of the year and asking a simple question:
"How's that going?"
You know, those resolutions you made in January. The fitness goals. The budget. The promise to finally organize the garage.
June 3 falls just about halfway through the year, making it a perfect checkpoint. Repeat Day encourages people to try again rather than give up entirely. Missed a goal? Start over. Abandoned a project? Pick it back up. Ate cookies for breakfast after promising you'd eat healthier? Tomorrow exists for a reason.
It's essentially the holiday equivalent of a giant reset button.
And frankly, that's a holiday we could all use.
